One of my first personal projects!
I wanted to make a personal bag completely out of scraps. Our local craft thrift store usually has a big bin of leather to dig through.
I started with a great pattern from Togi Handmade and set the leather pieces out to fit them together just right. Then I used a corset stitch to join the scrap pieces together.
The original pattern uses buckles but I wanted to change it up to a toggle. The toggle and top handle are antler (the ones my wife is always trying to get rid of).
The verdict
I love it and use it regularly.
